Through National Amusements, Sumner Redstone and his family are majority owners of CBS Corporation, Viacom, MTV Networks, BET, and the film studio Paramount Pictures, and are equal partners in MovieTickets.com.
In 1999 Redstone was divorced from his first wife of 55 years, Phyllis Gloria Raphael. He is the father of Shari Redstone and Brent Redstone. Three years after his divorce, he married Paula Fortunato, a former primary school teacher who is 39 years his junior. Sumner Redstone filed for divorce from Paula on Friday, October 17, 2008. Their divorce was finalized on January 22, 2009.
